Ney pathiri / full generalpathal / Poricaha pathiri could be a deep deep-fried pathiri or deep dish roti and could be a quite common and innovative breakfast item in Malabar space.  Malabar space of Kerala is incredibly celebrated for various varieties of pathiri. I actually have already shared the instruction of ari pathiri. However this pathiri instruction that I am sharing, could be a deep deep-fried version. This is often a tender, tasty pathiri that you'll serve with any curry. Unremarkable non-vegetarian curries ar served with full general pathiri, however vegetarians will do this tomato curry / thakkali curry that I prepare most of the time.  I served this pathiri with egg curry.

Ingredients


    rice flour  - a pair of cups
    water - 1½ cups
    salt - to style
    shallots or little onion - five - half-dozen
    cumin seeds or jeera - a pair of teaspoon
    coconut scraped - one cup
    oil - for deep preparation







 Method


1.    in a very pan add water and convey it to boil. Once it starts boiling, add salt.
2.    Simmer the flame then add rice flour to that.
3.    combine it well with a spoon, shut down the flame then cowl and keep it aside for ten - fifteen minutes.
4.    Meanwhile, in a jar, add grated coconut, shallots, cumin seeds. Crush it coarsely.
5.    once a while, take the dough, once it's still heat, knead it well mistreatment your hands.
6.    Add the bottom mixture and knead well. build a soft dough. The dough ought to be soft however shouldn't be watery.
7.    Take tiny parts, build ball and flatten it.
8.    Smear oil in your palms. Take tiny lime sized balls, roll it in between your palms and slightly flatten it.
9.    Then employing a pathiri press / chapathi roller , flatten into thick disk formed flat breads.
10.    Pour oil in a very pan.
11.    once hot enough, gently slide the pathiri into the recent oil.
12.    it'll brag, and are available to the highest. Then flip it to the opposite facet and fry till they  become tender.
13.    Pathiri is prepared. Serve full general pathiri with non veg curry or with kurma.

Notes

After creating the dough for marshal pathiri, do not leave it out for a protracted time, otherwise, it'll drink additional oil
After creating a pair of - three marshal pathiris regulate the flame, check the oil temperature, before preparation additional pathiris. If the oil is extremely hot, then shut down the flame for some minutes, bring the oil temperature down and so build marshal pathiri.
